Cuban National Museum of Art. Art of a revolution. This is the house for the art of those who could collect but then could also be collected by the state. So this is the house of art that the state built.

So many great artists. Still the root is Paris – everyone was influenced by the artists working in Paris in the 20s.

This room is an installation to have the viewer appreciate the feeling of being in a locked cell.

I would have sat in there but I was with the group and so just making these photos held up the rest of the group. So while I was looking at a solitary cell I was creating a real cell – a bus full of people held captive, waiting for me. ha!
